Star Wars: Episode IV: What Has Changed?

Star Wars: Episode IV | Episode IV: What Has Changed?

solothis was a great article and picture series over at starwars.com. being the known star wars junkie that am i, i thought i knew all the things that had been changed from the 1977 and 1997 versions of the film when the dvd set came out in 2004, but this comprehensive review did actually hold some suprises for me. i know most of you don’t find this stuff all that interesting- but for star wars fans, you might be impressed.

some shots are fairly obvious- whereas others i had never noticed. there were even a few i didn’t think were old at all- credit goes to the 1977 version from this fan, as some elements were old school when i believed them added recently. i haven’t decided if i’m purchasing this ‘new, old’ set, as we’ve discussed before. i will probably hold out for what i’m guessing will be a huge new set that comes with the 30th anniversary next year.

a little older, but there’s another great comparison article at dvdactive if you’re interested.
