Beware of Drunken Trees
Our poor friend Rich was minding his own business, casually driving over black ice, when out of nowhere a large tree, apparently drunk, jumped out into the roadway. The indentity of the tree is currently being withheld by local police.
In all seriousness, Rich was very lucky to walk away unharmed. Michelle and I were happy to know he’s okay- only a week or so ago Michelle’s Jeep suffered from the road conditions- and it hadn’t even been snowing. She was hit head on by another vehicle that had bounced off another vehicle that hit the black ice. She too, walked away unharmed.
This season shows to be a bad one- for all our friends and family out on the roads- be careful. Winter driving conditions can change very quickly, especially when dealing with drifting or blowing snow. Drivers should ensure they use extra caution and vigilance on all roads throughout the winter months. Adjust your speed to winter conditions and prepare to drive in winter’s worst- let’s not have any more accident stories this season.

You guys all watch out. They just jump out there on you. They are all bad, never know when ones going to snap and jump out into the middle of the street. All joking aside I was very lucky, was responding to a car accident and ended up in one of my own. Guess in my neck of the woods even the fire department has to be mindful of ice.
Safe driving all..
