Banana Sandwich
I’ve been trying to write something up in the blog each day, but I’ve been swamped with crap to do all month long- so obviously I’m not quite there. Instead of some meaningful insight tonight, I’m just going to cluster-@#$% an entry… with everything on my mind. Who doesn’t love a week that starts off with “… and it turns out that blind guy is on the United States Access Board.”
Don’t get me wrong, I like being busy. Real busy. I sleep better, the winter goes by faster, and I get twice as much done while developing twice as may to-do lists for the spring. Rock! Sidebar: mikull.com member Josh was nice enough to lend Michelle and I his Nintendo Wii this past weekend, and we actually took a few hours out to play it on Sunday. Great fun, great excuse to laugh together. I’m not sure just yet if my previous blog rings true, but Michelle wants one now. Assuming I ever seen one in a store. So no, it’s not all fun and games, but then again, it was for a time there.
In any case, this cartoon desk is much too simple. Mine also features: My list of people to kill, which I will eventually develop a nice AJAX interface for. My new 17″ MacBook Pro, which I am told will get me to join the cult. Looking forward to the fruit punch. That lonely place where all those starred RSS feed items, remember-me bookmarks, and del.icio.us links tagged as ‘follow-up’ go… incidentally, it’s the same place I keep value placed on my in-laws’ incessant, preempted judge-mental bullshit. Speaking of strong family values, can anything be more fun that helping your dad move his shit out of his x-wife’s house with his girlfriend and her new boyfriend’s company? Hint: none of those women are my mom. A picture of my wife, my dog, my car, and my favorite madness clipping. Lastly, the stack of tax documents I need to do something with. Well, my desk is a little bigger than that one in the picture. Burnout? Never. It’s always darkest just before it goes pitch black.

Of all the topics in this Cluster-@#$% posting, I would say that I am more interested in the Wii. My wife really wants to play video games with me (I don’t play anymore because it caused problems with our relationship but she can tell that I miss them dearly).
Sounds like maybe the Wii could be the answer. I think that Blockbuster rents these by the week, I will try my hand and report back.
I think I would have to agree. stop working so much and have some f&^%#n’ fun for a change. I have to admit, every since I got “Reader Josh’s” PSP, I haven’t done sh!t at home except play. Yeah, it kinda bothered by wife for a while, but I made up for it with a surprise bday party at the end of the month
Anyway, leave the work for work. Have some fun at home… go buy your Wii (-wii).
