this past saturday myself, michelle, damien, erin, scotto and albert went out to see bad religion. we caught them at the starland ballroom in in jersey- used to be some dance joint in sayverille. pretty nice place for shows. ah yes, back in ‘91 or ‘92 i remember seeing them at the roseland in the city - over the past 10+ years i’ve caught them about 7 or 8 times now- so there were really no suprises or disappointments. in fact, they have such a large catalog now i am always left wanting more; a sign of a great show.

i was sore and feeling old the next day- but its nice to be bigger than the kids surrounding me now. just shove out of the way when they get annoying! i was super excited thanks to red bull and vodka, and didn’t wear my earplugs. took 2 days for the rining to go away… so karma took care of me for kid kicking. got closer than usual though, and nearly lost my voice singing along to all the tunes. they bounced around their entire catalog, from suffer to generator to los angles is burning and back again. no along the way, but still fullfilling. they haven’t loss any energy over the years- and they’re still one of my favorite live shows. check them out if you can!
