Every year on April 10, the anniversary date of the founding of the ASPCA in 1866, the ASPCA will be celebrating ASPCA Day and encouraging animal lovers of all ages nationwide to GO ORANGE FOR ANIMALS! Going Orange on ASPCA Day is a tribute to the work of the ASPCA and a celebration of compassion and kindness for all living things everywhere. (Orange is the official ASPCA color and what better to celebrate than our love of animals?)
In our hometown of New York City, many iconic Big Apple buildings light up orange on April 10. Other big cities, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin and Philadelphia, will be “going orange,” too. Join the ASPCA Grassroots Team and help us GO ORANGE in your home town!
*Bracelet contest: Ten winners will be selected randomly and contacted via e-mail during April, 2008. Bracelets were acquired via donation from the ASPCA.

Animal cruelty does suck. My family adopted a puppy from the animal shelter my sister own her now though but I get to dog sit on weekends. =]

haha yeah she had a mohawk but her fur grew out by the time I took this pic last year. She’s much bigger now and bites everything! >_

The cruelty sickens me. I have 7 dogs - all rescues - and 2 cats - rescues and now all spoiled rotten

I have been knocked down more than once 
I used to have a job that required pantyhose..spent a fortune 
but now I work in a doctor’s office and wear scrubs..they hold up a lot better to the welcome home that I get. We have a doggy door and a huge fenced yard so they rule the house and the yard..but I don’t think they go out at all during the day while my husband and I are gone 
I think they all spread out on the bed and the two love seats 
and snooze all day. I recently saw the incredible Sarah McLachlin (sp) commerical with her song (in the arms of the angels). I loved the braided (sort of) We are their voice bracelet…is that available for sale?

ok, that video just made me cry on my keyboard. It’s a very worthy cause.
I seriously can’t watch these commercials. I have no problems watching the Christian Childrens commercials with the kids living in squalor but the pictures of beaten dogs makes me sick.

I can not watch videos of animal abuse and I can’t understand how anyone can do that. I guess they need to feel powerful over something. How sad.
support these animals people who abuse these animals are sick and it make me sick please donate to this cause whenever you can even if it is just a bag of dog or cat food adopt when you can

I donate $18.00 monthly to ASPCA automatically out of my checking account all because of one commercial that had me totally broken down and sobbing….I will continue to support the ASPCA the best I can as it is a most worthy cause. These animals cannot speak for themselves so we must speak for them……”WE ARE THEIR VOICE” and I believe this with all my heart.
hey, i just wanna say im am a number 1 person against animal cruelty, it is a horrible thing and i cant understand y anyone can do such things to animals…..!!!! they are such precious creatures!
