the first two weeks of december provide a nice shopping list for those of you still looking for stocking stuffers- decemeber 6 sees the release of quite a few picks: fantastic four, dukes of hazzard unrated, star wars clone wars volume 2, and my near pick for the first week, cinderella man. but instead, i’m choosing the long awaited release of the imagine (john lennon) disc. yoko dropped this one right at the 25th anniversay as noted right here on mikull.com- but this is one awesome documentary about the life and times of beatles. a must, must own for anyone who claims they love the beatles.

for those true geeks out there, don’t forget the he-man/she-ra xmas special! in both weeks we have several TV releases- including the second entry to the thundercats sets, jackass and the simpsons season 7. on december 13 we get a new release of the producers- which if you don’t already own, please allow me to introduce you to one classic movie. my comedy pick for this week goes to 40 year old virgin- not to overshadow another must buy if you don’t own: yet again the classic airplane. as always, you can scan the cover gallery to find something special for yourself that i might not have mentioned. the real pick, for both weeks in review here, if of course the extended, unrated, director’s cut of sin city. looking forward to finding this under my tree!
